Welcome to Gotham.

This little blog as been around for almost five months, in which time we’ve posted many images taken as the City of Big Shoulders transforms into Gotham. I’ve created a page to host all of these dark and moody images in one place. I’ve also just updated our Imagekind galleries to include most of the images you’ve seen here. There are now over 45 photographs available for purchase! Click here to check them out!

Mike and I headed out to Goose Island one morning to do a bit of twilight photography and stepped from my car into Gotham city just before dawn. A hub for things industrial, the buildings on Goose Island are fantastic photographic subjects. As with all the photographs I publish here on tWp, if you click on the image you will be taken to my Flickr page where you can click the button that says “All Sizes” right above the picture and then click the blue link that says “Original” to view every little detail in this monster panorama at full resolution. I’m working to give myself a bit of a Photoshop education, and in the future you’ll see more and more manipulated images from me. These images will be tagged “photoshop manipulations” and, if I can keep it up, contain a crow as a calling card somewhere in the image. Hope you like them!

Here is a link to the gallery page for these images which will be continuously updated as we post more dark images.
