From the bottom up

I’ve published a lot of photographs in the last week from Starved Rock, and I have a lot more to go – but this will be one of the last for a little bit lest I start to bore everyone. A family member was inquiring after the photographs of the frozen waterfalls, and I realized that in spite of all my posts from Starved Rock, I haven’t published any photographs of the waterfalls. So without further ado, while I’m out this weekend taking some more photographs of other places around the city – here’s the larger waterfall from Wildcat Canyon.

I was really ginger with my movements around these ENORMOUS frozen waterfalls as I was very worried about getting crushed or cut by some errant icicles. This photograph was taken during the early twilight – later in the day we saw kids running and jumping and kicking and throwing things at these waterfalls – bad idea.
